Safety on the internet is something that you shouldn't take lightly. As of 2021, most people across the world have access to the internet. As a result, most people with internet access can post or do whatever they want on the internet. However, this doesn't come without its flaws in internet safety. When talking to people on the internet, they may seem caring and nice. However, users on the internet could potentially have ulterior motives. These motives could potentially put your life and privacy at risk. An example of this could be identity theft, where people could steal your information and act like you online without you even knowing. To prevent this, scouts can earn cyber chip to learn about the dangers of the internet and how to protect themselves from these sorts of dangers.

Remember to stay safe!

P.S. For requirement #2, Scouts must send a signed contract (parents and scout signature) with at least 6 points of internet safety to me or Kenny through scoutbook to get that requirement signed off.
