How to Write a good Article

Hello!

You may be an instructor, guide, webmaster or just a helpful older scout and wondering "How do I write a good Article?"

First find a good topic relevant to our troop. This could be material for a lesson like "How to tie a bowline knot" if you were going to teach knots in the troop meeting or it could be like "How to pack for Sam Mac" or "How to sign up on Scoutbook".

Second Add Lots of Pictures!

People like to look at pictures, so if you want your article to read easier and have people understand it better, then add photos, screenshots, or links to videos. (try not to upload the video to Wix, we have limited storage)

Third, Cut back on the words!

Nobody wants to read along article, so don't drag it out. You should have adequate length and information, but don't just have two words and a ton of pictures, try to write plenty of captions! Also, don't mention last names. Use Last initial so like I am Logan S.
